Non-Steroidal MRA – Expanding Cardiorenal Care in Diabetes and Beyond

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a common and clinically relevant complication of diabetes and a major contributor to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Early detection of kidney damage and an integrated approach to reducing both renal and cardiovascular risk are therefore essential. Non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRA) have emerged as important therapeutic options for improving outcomes and slowing disease progression.

This webcast, recorded live at the 62nd EASD Annual Meeting 2026 in Milan, brings together leading international experts to discuss the role of UACR in risk assessment, current evidence for non-steroidal MRA in CKD, and their expanding role in heart failure management.
